So I finally got out and took some photos. I went yesterday at lunch time to a nearby park here and snapped some shots. I am not surprised the trees look meh ... because it's that time of year. Annnnnd, we're home. It was a nice day and a half away. Before we left Tuesday, I met Trisha at Starbucks and we had a great time hanging out and chatting/laughing for two hours. There were these tiny birds (finches?) hoping around all over the place and one finally stopped long enough for me to snap a couple of photos (pictured below).

After lunch at the Pond House today, I went on a walk around the park and took some photos. I was really glad it had rained earlier, so it was really nice out and even the humidity wasn't that bad. Actually had a decent day at work today, considering I only got about 2 hours of sleep (:  I started that Sweet Evil novel last night and just couldn't put it down (as evident by me finishing it just moments ago). It was really damn good. Before I realized it, it was 3:30am and I finally gave in and went to sleep.

I babysat Ziggy last year for a couple of weekends for one if the professors here at my job. Back then he was already a big dog for a 1 year old ...

Today he came for a visit and I was shocked at how much bigger he got! He's still the friendliest dog ever and quite handsome ;)

Had a pretty good day today. I didn't test out the camera TOO much, but I took a few shots around outside so, those are below. After a few photos, I went to eat with Diane at Yannis, a mom/pop place down the road from us. Then, Diane and I went to Target where I got myself a new wallet as we as a 'french manicure' nail polish set.

Was heating up my lunch and this little critter was outside making all kinds of ruckus… He did manage to get in through the hole on top of that one trash bin.
